Palkia

Whelp, this was supposed to be a warmup for drawing monster burds BUT clearly, this went way past the warmup stage lmao. 


When did this game come out? 2006? Dang. Ten whole years since this game came out. DAAANG.

I remember seeing Palkia in hopes that there would finally be a female/feminine-ish legendary. Most of the ones I can recall up until then had deep masculine voices— if they could talk. Now I definitely know more about Pokes lol, and about genders. 

I fell in love with the pokemon in so many ways, and they quickly became a rising favorite. Gen IV is also my favorite— having replayed the Pearl game more than 5 times, and still counting. And that's only on one game card XD I even got my sister's and played it, since she didn't want it anymore. I wasn't the type of kid to be asking for things all the time, so I never did get Platinum. Giratina is also pretty high on that list o' faves. 

Like usual, I have this headcanon/AU. Each pokemon and person in the cast is a character, per usual. My eeveelution team and a couple other teams I've been through the games with make up almost an army of cast members. I give them names, and depending on who, genders. Sometimes the natures and personalities I listed under the team's descriptions aren't actually the ones I have. There's a good chance that I did actually have them at some point!

So, yep! I'm actually a long-time Pokemon fan. Palkia has been with my teams since '06 <3 Wowzas. My Palkia is named Luijzika (loo-ee-zee-kah), and I've dubbed them as a she/her. Palkia has a gorgeous design. nnnnnnn
